Retaining walls that stay put

We build segmental block walls, natural stone walls, and boulder walls. Whatever the material, the wall is only as good as what is behind it: compacted base, gravel backfill, and drainage that gives water somewhere to go. Walls fail from water pressure, not from weight. Ours are built to drain.

Walkways and steps

Paver and natural stone walkways, front entry paths, garden paths, and steps that handle a grade change without becoming a hazard in January. We match materials to your patio or driveway so the yard reads as one design.

What drives the price

For walls: height, length, material, and how much earth has to move. Taller walls need engineering, and we’ll tell you when your project crosses that line. For walkways: length, width, material, and site prep. Curves cost a little more than straight runs but usually look better.

Common questions

Does my wall need a permit or an engineer? Most towns require engineering above a certain height, commonly around four feet. We handle that process when your wall needs it.

How long do these walls last? Decades, when drainage is done right. That is the difference between a wall that leans in five years and one that doesn’t move.
